     Ok, I can help here. 
     
        There is a kick ass Speed Racer maxi-CD out there by a group called 
     "Alpha Team" which features Techno mixs, with actual cartoon samples.  
     There is even Trixy having an orgasim on it "Ohhh Speed......"
     
     You should be able to find it in most good record shops, probably 
     under CD-singles, if you come up dry I can possibly 'burn' a copy on 
     our CD-r.
     
     Another GREAT Speed Racer tune was done my "Two Nice Girls" back 
     around 1990~91 which is a damn near dup of the Cartoon intro, but they 
     made some of the lyrics a little more interesting like;
     
        He's popping speed as he guns his car around the track
        He's freaking out so hard its like he's never coming back
        Adventures waiting just aheeeeaaadd.
        Go speed racer...........
     
     The "Two Nice Girls" mix is out of print and If anyone has this or 
     finds it let me know as my cassette mix taped from a radio show is 
     wearing out.
     
     Devo also has a mix called Speed Racer on their "Greatest Misses" 
     album, but it is unrelated to the cartoon and the album sucks.

hey ya'll
     
I got the Da da da song off the VW site, and nowI would really liek 
to know if anyone knows where i can get the orig 'go speedracer' theme 
song or the redone one off of some sorta "Saturday Caroon" CD that 
was a compilation of alternative bands..one was "Go speedracer"
but I have no clue as to the CD name or artists.  I'd like to make it 
sorta a VW theme but don't know of many more appropriate songs other 
than those 2 so i'll throw in some more to fillup the CD. So far I also got 
White Zombie, Styx, ..Rush's  Red barchetta (of course) it's gonan be 
cool, after I smoke a rice boy, at the next light I can roll down the 
window and ..Da Da Da.....
     
I'm going to make a driving music compilation with dadada as the 
first song, i'd like to make speedracer the 2nd track,but i need all 
the songs before I can burn the CD...ughhh
     
any info is appreciated
