Re: g60 torque vs. 16V
Well, all G60 cars had the later front mount hydraulic filled or
something. Yes, it is more torqueier, but most people just don't do a
stock g60 -> Scirocco. It usually winds up a beefed up G60.
Heck, over time the stock 16v motor has been known to cause stress
cracks along the front member near the front mount. Could this be the
reason the Scirocco was phased out in favor of the Corrado?

That's really strange. Does that mean the G60 is a lot torquier than
the 16V? A bud of mine has a G60 in his MK2 Golf, and I kick his ass
all over the place (except on top end). I can't see why the G60 would
have to be reinforced more than the stock 16V. Please enlighten me.
