It doesn't matter, if you have a powerful engine you NEED to brace it.
I am talking from exp. I DESTROYED my front cross member just by
using a poly front mount. I was cracked in at least 7 differnt places,
not to mention the rad sits higer. What really finshied it off is
when I broke the rear mount, THoump, lucky for my I didn't push the
radiator into the hood. It is now fixed, half assed, but sturdy.
All this from a stock 1.8 16v (hi-perf exhaust only).
