I have heard it said that tranny oil in a manual transmission does not
need to be changed. This person said that in automatic trannies it does
because the gearbox gets hot and breaks the oil down, but in manual
trannies, the same doesn't hold true. I tried arguing, but he let me
take his 310 000km Rabbit GTi for a spin, and the damn thing shifts
smoother than mine! Comments?
