Replacing with A2 parts

I was doing some thinking,  cause i'm getting bored and need something to
do.  Does anyone know if you can change out the wiper/MFI lever on the
steering wheel stock with one form a 90-92 GTI?  That would be cool.  It
looks easy to take apart, but i don't know if it would fit.  
Also, does the steering wheel from a GTI(90-92) fit in the scirocco?
