yeah, being down here in Houston, Mexico is only a few hours
away..everyone and they brother has a chop-shop down here,
so you have to be very anti-theft minded here. Not only do you
have to make the car not start..but also not be towed, it's not rare
for a towtruck to come up, strap your car on and haul ass away.
No anti-theft device is 100% foolproof, only way is to disable your
car, ie fuel pump relayor secret power switch etc...something to stop
them for at least 60 seconds so they go onto the next car.

I've heard Houston is bad. How do people make a car tow resistant with
dollys and flatbeds etc? Twenty foot cobralinks and a maple tree comes to
mind... The only thing I've heard is to turn your wheels to the curb.

least* you'll get 70-90 percent of it back. For sheer sentimental value
I'd probably settle for that.
