Audi GT/Sport

The recent question regarding the relationship of the Audi Gt to the
Scirocco reminded me of something I've been meaning to ask:

What's the relationship between the Scirocco and Audi Sport???  Every time
I see one of these I think it's a Scirocco, but upon closer examination I
see that it's an Audi.
