Hey Kev, you sound like you're in the same boat as I. I bought the car
for $4800 (way too much, but I was in love...). Anyways, I've spent a
bundle fixing all of the fuckups left over from the original schmuck.
He abused this car in a big way, but I don't mind, cuz I fully intend to
restore it back to better than stock. Thus far, the only performance
mod that I have purchased is my trusty K&N. Any other mods have been
done by myself (chopped front springs, Josh Clarked front grille,
monowiper, de-trimmed sides, etc.
I am in dire need of proper suspension, paint, motor rebuild (cuz I
want more power, and this one sounds near death), and exhaust. Plus a
billion other things.
The car is an addiction, it's as simple as that. If you feel like
getting off the skag, go for it. Myself, I dig on dosing up as much as
I can. F**K, I need another hit...
