odometer/dash

Does anyone know of any specific instructions to get the
odometer/instrument cluster  out of an 1986 MK2 Scirocco?
I removed the cover for the instrument cluster.............and saw the one
screw on top of the instrument cluster............but...how do I get it
out? 
I noticed two screws/bolts in each side of the upper dash (near the door
hinges).  , and decided I
should take that off, but would like to get more info before I have my
whole car apart?
Any help always appreciated!!
