wait sec...the 8v does NOT have more torque, just low end torque. The 16v peaks
at 120 ft/lbs of torque which is much better than the 94 of an 8v.

Actually Oetting designed the first 16v head ever and yes they did and do design
and build their own 16v heads.

again...LACKING? 123hp and 120 ft/lbs of torque is a lot better than some 16v
engines. Torque that is close to horse power numbers is very hard to do as I see in
every 16v engine. E.g: Acura's Integra Type R has 195hp with only 155 ft/lbs
torque! I like the torque in my 16v, it comes in like a mild turbo does, up high
