Hi, I read that stuff too, but I understood that he said the 16V head
was a poor design from a high performance point of view. I guess that
when VW makes an engine they have to consider what is reliable and economical
from an every day use point of view.Maybe VW could have done better I
sure can't tell :) But hey, I'd like even a stock 16V in my car
