wheel no-no's.

Today I learned that if you own a set of "Sparco Racing Wheels" (thats 
the brand brand name. Im not sure of the actual wheel name but its 
simular to a BBS RS-II web or mesh pattern.) and you also autox on 
them, you might just want to get rid of them right now! A friend of 
mine driving a Honda Civic EX at the track today completely broke the 
center out of the wheel while going through a mildly long left hander. 
Luckily, there was only slight damage to the car.

While inspecting the rest of the wheels, we found numerous cracks on 
the remaining 3 wheels. If you own a set, or know somebody who does, 
look really close where the web meets the rim and also where the bolt 
holes are. We found cracks all over the entire wheel which is either a 
manufacture defect or they are simply not strong enough for the rigors 
of autox. 

BTW* This is the second autox season on these wheels. (about 18 events)
