no the water pump is bran new as well as  EVERY thing else i pulled the oil
 pump and disected it  its Wasted could hardly turn the shaft and the gears
had this metal imbeaded in the teeth. the bearings( rod and main) also had
this grit like sand in them but the crank was in great condition. the
cylinder walls did have a brown spot on #1 cylinder but its very slight. the
end bearings on the crank are my last step to check besides pulling the
distributor. already checked out my radiator in the beginning everything
there is perfect.
