Simply do a web search using Yahoo under: 

"SCCA +AUTOCROSS"

(copy & paste that) 
There are a few really good places that have plenty of autox info, 
faq's ect. Its a good place to start. I found a web site that has the 
Chicago autox clubs and info, but I lost it accidentally. There are 
also sites with info on who when and how to get started racing. You may 
want to post a message in the VW newsgroup. Im sure there are lots of 
people there who would like to help you get in contact with the right 
people.
