I agree with you. When im looking for a victim, I always look for an older
Camaro. I feel my chances are much better, no matter what mods hes got under
the hood, I figure my tighter cornering abilities will keep me ahead of all
that HP! (Until that long straight, but thats another story...) The weight
and lack of suspension make a big difference, all to my advantage.
Also the tech knowhow of some drivers of said cars. They have this HP is
everything mentality. After at least 2 incidents with older Camaro's, I would
get asked questions at the stop light. (damn, what do you got under the
hood?) They dont believe me when I say its a stock motor. Well, it is, its
just got a good intake/exhaust system and had a very good suspension. Still,
they disbelieve me, accuse me of having NOS, Turbo or a built motor. That
gets me to my point, you CAN make your car faster without even touching the
engine.
