My source did not say whether he thought it would fit, nor did he imply it
would'nt, but supposedly, they are different.....if you think about the
Quattro, and its tiny trunk, one can see where design parameters were
different. I have friends with both, I'll see if I can look at the two
cars side by side.
The big difference I can think of

Not the one I looked at last week:)! It had a longitudinally mounted
engine, just like the Audi.
