VERY noisy hydraulic lifter

Heyall, I took my 16v around the block tonight for the first time since last September!! 
 It's almost ready.  I love that power steering too and damn my exhaust sounds nice!  
Anyway, what doesn't sound nice is the lifter noise.  It was getting a little noticeable 
when I put the car away in the fall but now there is one lifter which is very loud.  I 
can hear it completely separate from every other noise, even over the exhaust and 
I'm a bit worried.  Is this a sign of a bad lifter, or is it just getting old?  Or is it just 
because the oil hasn't flowed up there in 10 months?  But it is only one lifter.  hm....
I know, I'll just get new cams and replace all the lifters anyway!  =)  I wish, lata,
