it breaks my heart to hear about a car being stolen and stripped,
especially more if its a VW that someone I know owns. Each
Incident I hear about causes me one hell of a sleepless night.
I lied in bed last night going over in my mind all the things I plan
to do to prevent my car from leaving my premesis, esp with
that Rieger Body kit I know it's going to be a prime target. I
plan to install about 4 or 5 manual kill switches, relocate the
hood release, alarm, club w/ circlular protector..or a removeable
steering wheel if I can manage that, plus removing the feul
pump relay, and maybe a few important fuses, like the lights..if
it IS stolen and a cop happens to be by at least he will be pulled
over for that.
I know this sounds like a lot of work to protect a car..but I think
my $10,000 investment is worth the extra 10min it will take to start
my car. because someone WILL try to steal it I know.
