RE: A/C
interested in it when you get it. i got the same estimate ($1500) for a
conversion on my old '86 bimmer L7. again from the dealer (read
Lucifer). ouch!
i've got dead A/C on my 88 as well. had it recharged with *something* -
the little shop that did it said it would work just as good as
Freon...fat chance, it lasted about 2 months and died. compressor kicks
on, just no cold. figure i've got a leak. maybe it's time to convert.
