Like Shawn said, the existing header/downpipe combination is a good one,
and
should be kept on the car. As far as the cat back systems go, I
personally have found the Pacesetter 16v Scirocco exhaust system to fit,
sound, and perform well for $120!!! (JC Whitney catalog) Additionally,
the dual chrome sliced exhaust tips that come on the system will save
another $50-$100 in additional expense. It is 2 3/8" mandrel bent
tubing too. Try it, if you don't like it, send it back. I love mine.
