My 85 sticks all the time.  You open the driver's door, and with your 
right hand pull the release lever.  Ball your left hand into a fist 
and gently thump on the left rear corner of the hood once or twice.  
You'll notice the front of the hood lift up just a wee bit, meaning 
it's released.  Just walk around and lift it up.  I do this every 
time I open the hood, a pain but works.

Obviously, this is on my list of things that need to be fixed :)
