        The majority of the twisting in the bars is done at the outer
portions of the bar.  This means that the center portion is not doing much
anyways.  Therefore, you can take it out.  Of course a hollow bar of say X
mm is probably just a bit less stiff than a solid bar of X mm, too.  So, a
hollow bar is just as good as a solid bar.
