1 word.....reinforce reinforce reinforce.
by chopping the roof (main upper support) you have to almost double
the lower frame to keep it from twisting. Also I would recommend
adding a roll-bar in case the car flips....it may look cool, but if
it flips without a roll-bar your dead. Thats a hell of a lot of
welding and weight added.
