Good point(s).  I good example of what Jim points out above can be
found in a book I have that expounds on the above.  The book is
"Porsche High Performance Driving Handbook" by Vic Elford.  Although
it it Porsche oriented, it explains the above, + heel toe, left foot
braking, and although rear wheel drive oriented for the most part,
there is a section explaining the handling differences between Front
Wheel Drive, RWD, Mid-Engine, RWD/Rear Engine.  Also, explains Apex's
and lines etc......
