Sequal: My car won't turn

today it got warm enough for me to actually do some work on my car.  I
finally started it..........  BUTTTTTTTTT  i have power steering fluid
leaking all over my tierods.......  my tierods boots were shot some time
back ago.....  but i did not think it will matter much if i were not to
replace it.........   somehow now......  i guess it must be the cold.....
broke apart my power steering......  the pump is shot now i think?????
there is now a really werid whirling sound coming from the pump and the
fluids are leaking from inside the tierod boot........  anyone know what's
up with that?????....  or how much it will cost for a repair to take
place.....  i figured that somehow there must have been a water built up
inside the broken boots and the cold must have frozen and made it
impossible for the pump to activate thus causing the stalling.....now that
the water is long melted away.....  so is my power steering.......
