It's an 84 wolfs. To give more of an update, I've had the outer CV's
replaced and the inners checked and repacked. I had this go bad on a
Jetta, and am particularly paranoid about it. ;-)
Hopefully someone here can help shed some light on this, cause I find most
mechanics to know squat about VW's. ex: bad motor mounts were diagnosed as
a cynlinder w/ low compression, giving uneven idle and rumbling.
I like having a bit of a push in my clutch. Are stock rocco clutches a bit
tougher to press than, say, a Jetta of like year? I find I have a hard
time adjusting back tot he jetta after being in the scirocco too long. I
keep expecting the pedal to push my foot back up, but it doesn't...
thanks!...
