I too have experienced a bad connection to the igntion chip (located in
driver's side of the engine compartment - where the wiper motor, etc. is)

Sometimes the connectors in the multi-pin plug become corroded - i fixed
it by cleaning it up as much as possible (both sides) and using some sort
of electrical spray (stuff that makes things conduct electricity better)
list - help me here . . .
