the neighborhood with no protection whatsoever?
I think there's value in putting up a few layers in front of the bulk of
the thieves out there-thats all any of us can do. I put in door handle
plates, ignition cut, fuel cut, clutch lock and a decent alarm -thats the
price I'm willing to pay for driving what _I want_ to drive, not
something bland and nondescript. The inconvenience of turning these few
layers on is nothing compared to the headache of having a car ripped off
and totalled. How many thieves want to spend the time and have the
experience to bypass the alarm, find and disable 2 cutoffs _and_ be
willing toast the transmission to get it? This ain't a Ferrari after
all, so I'm guessing they'll just move on to something easier, like that
defenceless Corrado a half block away from me.
