I have this book as well, and I find it quite informative and enjoyable also.
It makes a good "2nd opinion" on certain things.  At one time, it was my main
book, but I progressed beyond the models and years convered by it.  Too bad. 
I would also recommend it for early cars, 75-85 roughly.
