Not to be be picky, but some guys here may not know:

Should read....hook voltmeter set to read ohms (or ohmeter) on leads.

What resistance scale the meter needs to be set on, I'm not sure.  I 
would think a fairly high (100K-200K ohm) range.  Mr Bentley doesn't 
share that with us :)
