Yes, you are right (except that the empty slot is under the defog 
switch). I have seen almost every VW aftermarket company sell the 
foglight switch. Of course, wiring it up is the issue here, not getting 
the switch. I was hoping somebody on the list had done the actual 
modification on the tail-sockets, but I guess not.
