Nah, it's the clutch cable from any 8v Scirocco.  All of the 8vs came with manual 
cables and they fit any Scirocco.  I switched mine about 1 day before my clutch 
went, a bit too late I guess :)  The only difference is that you don't run it through that 
little ring next to the throttle cable.  It works so much better.  When the clutch starts 
going you know instead of the self adjusting cable adjusting until you get shift at all. 
 Not good needless to say and it will leave you stranded.  Good luck, plus it's only 
$22!
