Call me crazy but I have to argue with the gas mileage part.  I actually
sorta kinda like 8 valves better but I get 35 or 36 consistently on the
highway out of my 16V and only about 27 from my 8V.  Now of course, I admit
that my 8V is a total piece of junk but about 10 of my best buds drive 8
valves and none of them can touch me on the highway with their mileages.
 What was with EC sayin the project Scirocco only went a little over
200somethin miles before fill up?????  Did anybody else notice that?  I have
gone 380 miles on a tank before. doh.  later
