OFF-TOPIC: 92 GTI 2.0 16V price

Hey all...I need another car.  I ran across a 92 GTI with 52k miles
on it.  I talked them down to $7700.  It has A/C, sunroof and is in
really good condition.  They were asking the ever-so-inflated dealer
price of $9700.  What do ya think...should I get it?  It's teal, BTW.
Not my first color choice, but it's kinda hard to be choosy when 
buying a used car...which is why I have a BLACK 95 GTI. :-)  Please
respond privately.  

Also, what should I watch out for with these cars?  Were there any
quirks about the 92s that I should look for?  Any and all opinions/
advice is greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advance...
