Aw right.  Ya got me.  I got my first MkI Scirocco (Autumn Flake in color)
when I was 17. Uh oh. I managed to get my licensed suspended, then revoked.
If I remember correctly, I was also immortal at the time, yes, that's it. I
remember it quite clearly.  That car eventually bought a telephone pole, but
I was only 1/2 to blame.  Someone pulled out of a blind drive right in front
of me, (in the middle of winter), I went whizzing around them (aren't 17 year
old reflexes wonderful!?), managed to get the car back on my side of the road
and just caught a pole with the passenger side.  Boom.  Maybe I'll scan the
pics I took for the carnage page for the watercooled photo gallery at idt.net.

I'm NOT lending the keys from my 88 16v to my son for a long long time. Well,
he's only two now anyway... :-)
