I went to VW Parts Place yesterday to get some used parts for my rocco. I
was amazed at all the parts they had there. They have 1 1/2 acres of
dismantled VW's. They had 4 rocco's for sale, 2 16v's in decent shape, a
85 wolfsburg for $900 and another 1983 rocco. I got a mail order catalog
if anyone is interested in ordering themselves one the number is
(248)373-2300. It's in Auburn Hills, MI about 20 miles north of Detroit.
I picked up a used rim and a spare donut for $15/ea. I also got a used
washer fluid container for (don't faint) $15. I needed it badly, so I ate
it. This place seemed rather high on many things and they had no
performance parts. The people there do know their stuff and I guarantee
they have any part you're looking for.
Price on used teardrop wheels: $125 ea - $160 new
Just thought I would share my experience. Also, if anyone knows anywhere
else that offers mailorder catalogs, please let me know. Still comparing
many prices.
