Don't believe all this detailed stuff about the GTI you're reading 
here.  And don't doubt that Shawn has a GTI.  My proof is my 85 
Wolfsburg GTI.....

Gives (me ) Trouble Incessantly  :+)

And from what I've read here in the last year, there's a lot more 
GTIs in the states than they would have you believe :)
