Hi all

My dad had a 1972 transporter that sucked a valve.  Instead of putting in a
new vw motor he found some one in Sactramento Ca that made an adapter for
installing a buick V6.  That van hauled after that.  The raditor in the side
was unsightly though.  This all happened many years ago.  I don't even know
if it could be done now
