RE: best glue/adhesive for hard plastic
The best glue I've ever come across is an industrial strength glue called E-6000. I used it on the plastic floor board when the white clips came up. Hasn't budged since.

Subject: best glue/adhesive for hard plastic
Does anyone out there know of a REALLY good, I mean unbreakable,
"industrial strength" glue for hard plastics? I just made a really cool
badgeless 4 slat grille instead of the ugly stock one and the glue isn't
holding as well as I'd like it to. I used some model glue and then some
epoxy. I also need to cut myself some more support for the back of it.
I have to say that the Dremel tool is the best money I have spent on a
tool yet! I have done SO much with it: I am cutting the roof for my
sunroof motor, I cut my console for th guage panel, I made the grille,
and I cut my wiper motor linkage so I can have my DTM wiper go accross
the whole screen. I would advise EVERYONE to but one. Mine was only
$42 with 108 attachments! YES!! I AM SOOOOOOOOOO PSYCHED~!!!! YEAH!!
WOOHOO!!!
