Jay try tightening two nuts together on the stud and then tighten the stud
into the head using a wrench on the top nut. After it's in place hold the
bottom nut and remove the top one, the bottom nut should then be loose
enough to remove without the stud loosening. Locktight on the head side of
the stud will keep it in place after installed. I hope this makes sense.
