Step 1.     Pick up door plates in left hand.

Step 2.     Open trash can with right hand.

Step 3.     Drop door plates in can.

Step 4.     Slam lid.

Trust me, these things arre worse than useless. All they do is force the
vandals to make a FAR bigger hole in your door when they pry in. You're
better off with an alarm. Take it from an insurance appraiser in Southern
California who's seen the damage they'll do.
