cold engine better than warm?

Hi, I have fixed most of my fuel related problems in my 8v.

But still the car runs better when it's cold. After a couple of minutes it
loses some power at the lower RPMs. What is the problem? Or is it a problem? 
Does the lead-pressure regulator have any efect on this?
