Speaking of emissions

You know I the very first thing I did when I bought my Scirocco (used) back 
in '85 was to gut the CAT.  It always passed inspection, every year (of 
course I have this tendancy to put 104+ octane boost ((which I highly 
recommend, keeps those valves spotless!!!)) but I don't think that 
mattered).
Now, of course, the car is too old to be tested for emissions...!
Yeee ha!
