If its tape (not paint) pick up a product called Goof-Off, it's available at
a hardware store. Put some on a soft cloth and rub it over the pinstripe. It
will soften the adhesive and allow you to pull off the pinstripe. I own a
sign shop that specializes in race car graphics, so I know it works!
