I have the adjustable ones.  I adjusted them to the softest setting 
tonight and I noticed some difference but not really a lot.  But they still
handle better than the Sachs, even on the softest setting, and they 
don' t beat the hell out of ya, either!  And, I don't have to hear my wife complain anymore, either.  :-)  Are you in Germany?  Your name sounds European...
