Doh! I hit a curb - now what..........

O.K. - I'm an idiot. I hit a curb while making a hard U-turn ("Aw hell, I
can make that turn - no problem.")

Anyway, I've got damage of some sort on the right front. Everything feels
fine - no handling or "road-feel" difference before and after. Sounds are a
different matter though - I've got something shifting in the front.
Everytime the front suspension unloads under acceleration something shifts
and then shifts back causing two distinct clunks. It sounds like something
being tossed up and then falling back courteousy of gravity.

I jacked the car up and took a look. The control arm is straight, the strut
housing doesn't appear to be cracked and the tie rod is still in one
straight piece. I don't know what else to look at? Any suggestions on what
might be loose, cracked, stripped or otherwise out of spec.???

As always, all advice/suggestions/guesses welcome!

Thanks in advance.
Chris.
