Well actually all Scirocco's, Wolfsburg or not, after '83 1/2 had the 1.8 JH
engine in them and then came the 16vs

The only difference between 16vs is  the Euro/US difference and the 2.0/1.8L
difference.  Otherwise they were all the same.
